Substation Projects

Tamark Sub

Tamark Sub was a turnkey project. It required demolition of the old building and a 100% self-performed new building construction, including rock drilling and placing all foundations, erecting the new building and installing the new underground utilities.

Pit 1 Sub

Pit 1 Sub was a project that required 100% demolition of bank #1 and #2 115kv yards and construction of all the new foundations incorporated with the bank replacements. The project schedule was intense, requiring multiple crews to keep construction going 24/7 for a three-month period during the dead of winter.

Brighton Grand Island

Outback teamed up with its engineering partners to deliver a design build project to drive piles and build new towers in the Delta of California. The piles were driven anywhere from 30-70 feet in depth, then protected with UV coating to prevent damage on exposed casings.

Hydro Power

Dams are built in some of the most rugged terrain in the world—which is exactly what Outback specializes in. From small projects and site upgrades to complex grounding installation and foundation work, our field team has the experience, expertise and equipment to support hydro power construction projects in any topography, nationwide. Our capabilities include:
